It's both. It's a fully working ultrasonic humidifier and aroma diffuser, built into a hand-finished sculpture. Fill it with water, switch it on, and cool mist flows out of her basket and down her robe like a waterfall. When it's off, it's still a beautiful piece of décor.

Not at all. There's a small fill opening hidden in her back with a flip cap. Pour in water, add a few drops of essential oil if you like, close the cap and switch it on. It takes about 10 seconds and there's nothing to take apart.
